1. Novotel London Canary Wharf, London

The Shard, the City and Olympic Park are just some of the notable sights that you can spot from Novotel’s flagship skyscraper hotel in Canary Warf. The ultra-modern restaurant, bar and roof terrace on the top floors enjoy 360-degree views of London’s skyline. There are also nine fully equipped meeting rooms, a state-of-the-art gym and swimming pool, making it a special destination for both leisure and business travellers.

2. The Principal St David’s Hotel, Cardiff

All rooms come with a view at The Principal St David’s Hotel. It has eight modern meeting and events spaces to choose from, each boasting beautiful views over Cardiff Bay’s waterfront. 3. Gleneagles, Perthshire

The 850-acre estate in Scotland has recently unveiled a unique new meeting and events concept. Ochil House comprises six exclusive-use spaces inspired by the design of original private members clubs. The design team also created a range of ‘inventor blue prints’ that pay homage to great Scottish inventions for the rooms; the aim being to inspire and stimulate conversation. Exclusive use of Ochil House benefits from further outdoor breakout lawns, while individual rooms can also be booked privately.

4. County Hall Westminster Bridge, London

Whether you are having a conference or an intimate private dinner, County Hall has 68,000 sq ft of multi-use event space over two floors, ready to be transformed to your requirements. The location of the etc. venue is a big draw too. Situated on the Southbank of the Thames, it has not one but two of London’s renowned landmarks in its vicinity – the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye. It’s also just a short stroll away from Westminster and Waterloo stations.

5. York Marriott Hotel, York

With views towards the historic York Racecourse, the Marriott Hotel has 11 event rooms and 10 breakout rooms, with a capacity of up to 190 guests. Day delegate rates begin from £29, while you also have access to a meeting services app and free Wi-Fi. The hotel is only a 30-minute walk from York too, should your guests like to explore the medieval city.

6. Grange Holborn Hotel, London

Delegates are greeted with uninterrupted views of London at the stunning penthouse-level Sky Bar at the Grange Holborn Hotel. 7. The Lowry, Greater Manchester

The multi-purpose arts venue on the Salford Keys scores highly for its unusual architecture, diverse spaces and waterside vistas. The Compass Room in particular stands out with its floor to ceiling windows, as does the Andrew and Zoe Law Galleries where delegates can network amongst the artwork. If your delegates need a respite, they can explore the nearby Imperial War Museum North or Old Trafford football stadium.
