So, that's a little about us, what about you?
We make a real difference to the ways people connect. How we can help you?
Our exec team.
We're the best at connecting people and that starts at the very top. Meet our fearless leaders; they plot our path forward and walk every step of it with us. Rather than spin you the conventional Exec script, here's a few things you might not know about them...
Welcome to our world.
We’re a UK travel, meeting and event specialist, and we’re experts in connecting people - in person and virtually.
We’re a fun bunch and we love what we do.
Formerly known as Capita Travel and Events and NYS, we’ve been connecting people for years (since 1972 to be exact). Over the years, we’ve built a team of creative minds, innovators and problem-solvers, living and breathing our vision, promise and values every day.
We help organisations to connect their people. We do this by understanding your culture, people and customers. We help control costs while protecting the wellbeing of people, to provide the most effective approach for travel, meetings and events.
From booking a rail ticket to managing multi-million-pound travel programmes, sourcing a symphonic orchestra to an unforgettable event experience on the African plains, we’re a team of creative minds, innovators and problem solvers.
James Parkhouse, CEO
I’ve been in professional and leadership roles for 20+ years and involved with travel, meetings, and events for over 15 of them. In my career, I’ve been fortunate to lead teams in the UK and internationally across diverse sectors but travel, meetings and events has now been the majority of my career and is what I consider home.
I’ve often been guilty of over-sharing, so there might not be much you don’t already know…
Ok, here’s one… my grandfather invented Neapolitan ice cream by being the first person to produce a process to put all 3 colours, made with pistachio, vanilla and strawberry to present the Italian flag (not chocolate as used today) in a tub, without them mixing ... at least this is what my Mum always told me.
Donna Fitzgerald, COO
I’ve been with Agiito through most of its journey over the past 30 years, holding a number of positions with Lonsdale Travel and Capita Travel and Events across Operations, Account Management, Customer Solutions and recently leading our Business Development and Bid teams before joining the Exec team as COO.
I was a competitive gymnast up to the age of 20, I know, hard to believe but I have the medals and trophies to prove it!
Iqbal Sandhu, CFO
Believe it or not, as a kid I actually wanted to be an Accountant. I was fascinated by being able to interpret the world through its one universal language… numbers! I qualified as an Accountant after completing my ACCA exams over 20 years ago and have since spent my career working for large organisations AXA and Capita. Both of which have afforded me great experiences of working in some very varied senior Finance roles across their groups.
In my early teens, I'd work with my dad on building sites. It was actually when my work life started, although with no national insurance number it was unpaid child labour so I don’t think that counts! But I tell you what, that experience soon sorted out my fear of heights!
Sam Hart, CIO
I initially trained as a film-maker/editor, followed by many years in newspaper production. I then made the decision to re-train, which led to a switch in careers to IT. I’ve worked in many roles, ranging from: Desktop Support, Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, Technical Architect, and then Information Security and Risk and Audit. Oh, and there was a mid-life switch to midwifery for 12 months, which didn’t work out. So, here I am today at Agiito after falling into the industry in the advent of GDPR. I’ve stayed in the business, not just for the travel but because I love the business and what it stands for.
I love growing veg, but I’m only just learning to love to eat it! I also have a huge enjoyment for outdoor cooking, so I’ve dug a fire pit in the back garden to try and tempt my boys out into the fresh air!
Steve Banks, CCO
So apart from a ‘brief sabbatical’, I’ve been with the business for 26 years starting with Lonsdale Travel, and have since worked across a variety of areas including Operations, Account Management, Sales and Sports Travel. It’s fair to say, I’m very passionate about the business travel sector and the solutions we provide to customers. I’m also a big advocate of what the industry stands for, so enjoy working with various trade bodies such as ITM, BTA and anything customer facing with regards to travel.
A little tenuous, but I once gave fashion advice to David Beckham.
We say a big "no" to single use plastics in our offices to help protect the environment and keep our planet clean.

We’re committed to being a responsible business, from the welfare of our people to the trees in our rainforests. Here’s just a handful of the things we do.
Come and meet our fearless leaders.
We're open about our values, we live and breathe them in everything we do.
They are the north star for how we want to see the world and how we are seen by it. It also shapes the role we want to play within it and ensure we speak with a ‘single voice’ across the business regardless of the type of work we are producing.
We say it as it is and we’re not afraid to speak out, even if it makes us uncomfortable.
We put effort into doing the best we can, take responsibility for all our actions and have each other’s backs.
We may be straight talkers, but we are also considerate and respectful.
We are genuine, honest and true to ourselves and our values.
We only say things about fellow colleagues that we would say to their face.
We adapt to any situation and with speed and decisiveness.
We are forward-looking, original thinkers hungry for innovation and excellence.
We always question what can be done better and act on our ideas.
We enjoy the journey we’re on, no matter what comes our way.
Our enthusiasm for pushing boundaries inspires others.
We explore what is best for the company.
We do it with wonder and curiosity, challenging the status quo.
Our positivity stems from our enthusiasm for what we do.
We are human and we make time to have fun.
We’re determined to succeed.
Even when we fail, we pick ourselves up and carry on stronger than before.
We’re there in the moment and give everything our full commitment and attention.
We own it. If we make mistakes, we admit them, learn from them and continue to improve.
